Should I arrange pest control before moving?

Discuss concerns at the old home before packing, and plan an inspection of the new home before unpacking. Check belongings and boxes for pests, and inspect window screens. Spraying both homes is not automatically necessary. If treatment is needed, coordinate the timing and label-directed reentry with the provider.

What about termites at the new home? Mud tubes are a warning sign to have assessed. Not seeing them does not rule out hidden activity.

Why do insects keep appearing in my rice?

It is frustrating when remedies have not helped. Weevils are one possibility, but identify the pest first. Some develop inside grain, so removing visible insects may leave hidden stages behind. A lizard may look rather cute outside and still give you a fright indoors. Yet your entrance has to work for customers. Check gaps, nearby shelter and insects that lizards feed on. Consider whether a well-fitted screened entrance that closes properly would suit the shop. Reducing insect prey does not guarantee that lizards will disappear.
